The NSSAR traveling Exhibit and the Maine Society Banner along with a video of the American Revolution made up the Exhibit presented by the Maine Society of SAR for the annual Maine Genealogical Society on 9-26-2009 at the Bangor Civic Center. Over 150 attended.
Helping with the exhibit and also as a Color Guard at the Luncheon were: W. Dayton Salisbury, State President, Maine Society, Charles McGillicuddy, Trustee and Paul E. Salisbury, 3rd. Vice President and Sunshine Chairman.

President Dayton Salisbury honors 30 plus years membership of Dee N. Brown, past president of MESSAR

Alden T. Kennett was honored for his 25 plus years of membership in MESSAR. Alden graciously donated a Reproduction black Powder Musket to the MESSAR Colour Guard, which was received with much appreciation by "Court Dwyer, MESSAR Colour Guard Commander

Dee Brown's daughter who took time out of her busy schedule to give her father a ride to and from Augusta from Bangor.
